Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
35 blanched almonds
Preparation

Brown butter slightly; pour in bowl and cool.
Add sugar and stir until fluffy.
Add vanilla, then flour and baking powder, sifted together.
Work dough until smooth.
Roll into small balls.
