Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. caraway seed
1 c. raisins
1 1/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Stir together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Stir in buttermilk until all are combined.
(Dough will be sticky.)
Knead dough about 10 times on a flour-dusted board.
Shape into an oval loaf with flour-dusted hands.
Place in an ungreased pan.
Cut a deep cross in loaf.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes, until golden brown.
