Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
powdered sugar
Preparation

In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt and heat butter until light brown in color.
Pour in small bowl.
Chill until firm. Cream browned butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour.
Chill.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 15 minutes in preheated 325\u00b0 oven. Roll into powdered sugar while still warm.
Cool on wire rack.
