Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 large egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. each vanilla and lemon flavor
Preparation
    Sift dry
    ingredients
    together.
    Cream butter, Crisco, sugar and egg well.
    Add\tflour
    mixture\tto
    creamed mixture. Mix well. Chill for 20
    minutes.
    Dust
    with
    enough flour to handle well. Roll
    into\tballs.\tPlace
    on
    ungreased
    cookie sheet; dip the bottom of a glass in
    sugar
    and mash them out. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
