Orange-Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    juice and grated rind of 1 medium orange or 1 1/2 small ones
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    boiling water
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. chopped raw cranberries
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together 2 times flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and sugar.
    Add juice and rind of orange.
    Add salad oil with enough boiling water to make 1 cup.
    Add egg; mix well.
    Stir in cranberries and nuts.
    Bake 1 hour in a greased or sprayed loaf pan at 325\u00b0.
    Store 24 hours before serving.
    Serve with cream cheese.
    Also can be toasted.
