Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 to 5 medium potatoes, sliced
1 c. thinly sliced onion, separated into rings
3/4 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. soft breadcrumbs
Preparation

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring well.
Gradually add milk, beating constantly with a wire whisk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
Stir in salt and pepper; remove from heat.
Coat 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread 1/4 cup white sauce in baking dish.
Top with half each of potatoes, onion and cheese sauce.
Repeat layers except for cheese.
Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake additional 5 minutes.
