Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Beat sugars, butter, oil and eggs until light and creamy.
Add vanilla.
Sift flour, soda and cream of tartar together and gradually add to creamed mixture.
Drop by small balls on greased cookie sheets.
Flatten with fork.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Makes about 6 dozen.
