Orange Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. orange rind, grated
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl. Add the egg and mix until fluffy. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Add vanilla, orange rind and chopped pecans.
Mix well. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until finger doesn't leave print in preheated oven at 350\u00b0.
May frost with powdered sugar frosting made with powdered sugar and orange juice.
