Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch unbaked pie shell
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, beaten with fork
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix ingredients, except nutmeg.
    Pour into crust.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Turn oven to 325\u00b0. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean.
