Communion Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 pt. milk
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar.
    Work in the butter as for pastry.
    Add milk to make stiff dough.
    Roll out in sheets; mark in strips 1-inch wide and prick with fork 1-inch apart.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0), until lightly browned.
    Serves 50.
