Drop Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oleo
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk

Preparation

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream together the oleo, shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add the egg and cream until mixture is fluffy. Stir in dry ingredients until mixture is smooth.
Mix in the milk.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass that has been dipped in sugar. Bake at 400\u00b0 about 12 minutes. Makes 5 1/2 dozen.
