Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour (scant)
1 tsp. vanilla
pecans
Preparation

Mix well and form into small balls.
Flatten with a fork. Place 1/2 pecan on each.
Bake in moderate (350\u00b0) oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
