Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    7 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. blackberry jam
    2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. cloves (optional)
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 lb. Muscat raisins
    1 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Put 1 teaspoon soda into 1 cup buttermilk and add to the other ingredients.
    Add flour, jam, raisins and nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
