Melt-In-The-Mouth Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. ground walnuts
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar, vanilla and egg.
    Beat until light. Add rest of ingredients.
    Drop by scant teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Cool 1/2 minute in pan.
    Then remove to rack.
    Makes about 8 dozen.
