Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Sift flour with salt and add to shortening mixture.
Blend thoroughly.
Add nuts.
Shape into crescents.
Bake in pan at 325\u00b0 about 20 minutes.
Do not brown.
