Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg, separated
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy in a large bowl with electric mixer.
Add egg yolk and almond extract, blending thoroughly.
Stir in flour.
