Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken legs with thighs
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 cloves garlic, pressed
    1 small onion, peeled and chopped
    1 1/2 c. plum tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. marjoram, chopped
    2 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. basil, chopped
    1/2 tsp. thyme, chopped
    1/2 tsp. rosemary, chopped
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 c. dry white wine
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Pour off excess fat, leaving the brown drippings in the broiler pan.
    Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water to pan; heat and stir. Season to taste.
    Unthickened gravy is best for steaks.
