Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 c. oil
1 c. rolled oats
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add egg and mix well.
Add oil and mix well.
Add oats, cornflakes, coconut, pecans and vanilla; stir well.
Add flour, baking soda and salt.
Form into 1-inch balls; place on ungreased baking sheet.
Flatten with fork dipped in water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool on baking sheet 10 minutes before removing.
Makes about 9 1/2 dozen.
