Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar. Beat eggs. Sift flour and cream of tartar together. Gradually mix flour with the eggs and blend well.
Add the flour and eggs to the creamed shortening and sugar.
Mix well. Chill dough.
