Old-Fashioned Bread Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/3 c. butter
    8 c. dry bread cubes (1/2-inch size)
    2 apples, ground
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg
Preparation
    Fry hamburger.
    Cook onion and celery in butter in a skillet until tender.
    Add mixture to bread cubes which have been placed in a large dish.
    Sprinkle with seasoning which has been mixed together.
    Combine.
    Add water and egg.
    Toss together with fork. Put in dish or bird and bake.
