Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
grated rind of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Bake in loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Have ready the juice of one lemon and 1/4 cup sugar; mix well.
Pour over loaf when taken from oven and let juice soak in.
