2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. all-vegetable shortening
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
1/4 c. softened butter
1/3 c. light cream
1 c. icing sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
zest of orange
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place flour, salt, shortening, nutmeg, granulated sugar and orange rind in bowl.
Add egg yolks and butter.
Incorporate well with pastry blender.
Add cream and pinch dough to incorporate.
Roll on floured surface until about 1/4-inch thick.
Dust with more flour, if needed.
Using assorted cookie cutters, cut shapes and place on buttered cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes.
