Mini-Bite Mint Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 hard peppermint candies
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. butter (at room temperature)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place 1/2 (10) of peppermint candy into bag and crush.
    Repeat with rest of candy (1/2 cup total).
    Mix flour and soda; set aside.
    Mix butter and sugar with mixer until blended.
    Add flour mixture and beat until blended.
    Stir in crushed candy.
    Drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls.
    Bake 7 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and let cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then remove to rack. Yields 100 small cookies.
    (Good for children to make.)
