Southwestern Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cubed, cooked ham or 8 slices crisp bacon
    1 small onion, diced
    1 can cream-style corn
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. fat
    2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
Preparation
    Brown onion in fat (and bacon if you are using this).
    Add ham pieces (after the onion is cooked), corn, milk and potatoes.
    Cook over low heat for 25 to 30 minutes, until potatoes are cooked. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
    Serves 6.
