Ingredients

1 stick corn oil margarine
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix margarine, sugar and vanilla.
Add flour and salt.
Mix well.
Roll into balls (approximately 1 teaspoonful size).
Press your thumb into top of each cookie.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Fill thumbprint with jam, if desired.
Yield:
Makes 24 cookies.
