Homemade Bread (Italian) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 oz. yeast or 2 envelopes
    1 qt. warm water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt or more
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    22 Tbsp. powdered milk
    3 oz. shortening or oil
    3 lb. flour (11 c.)
Preparation
    Use 1 cup of warm water to dissolve the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar; mix well.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
