Mcvay'S Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and peanut butter.
    Add well beaten eggs. Stir soda in hot water; add to batter.
    Add flour and mix.
    Drop by spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Dip fork into sugar and make crisscross pattern.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes about 60 medium size cookies.
