Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs (save 1 egg white for topping)
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
sesame seeds
Preparation

Allow butter to soften at room temperature.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla, beating all the while.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into mixture and combine.
Knead until well blended.
Shape each cookie.
Place on oiled baking sheet, 2 inches apart and glaze tops with beaten egg white.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
