No-Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. quick oats
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Boil first four ingredients for three minutes on low heat.
    Add margarine.
    Cool slightly.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well and refrigerate overnight.
    Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Yields 3 dozen. These freeze well.
