Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour (all white) or 3 c. whole meal and 1 white
    1 rounded tsp. baking powder
    1 rounded tsp. baking soda
    1 level tsp. salt
    2 oz. margarine
    buttermilk to make a slack dough
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients together.
    Rub in margarine.
    Add buttermilk and mix to a dough.
    Place dough on a floured board and knead into a round shape.
    Place in a greased and floured 9-inch pan.
    Cut a cross right through the dough.
    Bake in a 380\u00b0 oven for 55 minutes or when a skewer comes out clean.
