Cinnamon-Raisin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
6 3/4 c. flour
2 c. raisins
1/4 c. cinnamon-sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt in a small saucepan; heat until shortening melts.
Cool to lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast in warm water; beat in eggs and milk mixture.
Beat in 4 cups of flour until smooth.
Stir in raisins; add enough more flour to make a soft dough.
Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic.
Place in large greased bowl, turning once to coat with shortening.
Cover and allow to rise in a warm place until double in bulk.
