Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over raisins.
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs.
    Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and add to sugar mixture.
    Add raisins and nuts.
    Fill bread pans 1/2 full. Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Yield: 3 large or 4 small loaves.
