Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 c. peanut butter
2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
Preparation

In heavy saucepan, stir together sugar and cocoa; stir in milk.
Add butter and corn syrup; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Boil vigorously for 3 minutes.
Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Stir in rolled oats until well combined. Return mixture to boiling.
Remove from heat; beat until slightly thickened.
