Kansas Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large ppkg. Oreo cookies
1 (8 oz.) ppkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. powdered sugar
1 large container Cool Whip
2 (3 1/2 oz.) boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Crush cookies and put 1/2 crumbs in 9 x 13 - inch pan.
Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth.
Mix in powdered sugar.
Fold in Cool Whip.
In a separate bowl, mix pudding, milk, and vanilla. Fold 2 mixtures together and pour into pan on crumbs.
Spread remaining crumbs over top.
Can be served, frozen or chilled.
