Two Tone Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening, melted
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk, scalded and cooled
    5 to 5 1/2 c. white flour
    3 Tbsp. dark molasses
    2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add sugar, shortening, salt and milk.
    Mix and then add 3 cups white flour. Beat.
    Divide in half. Stir in enough white flour to make a stiff dough.
    To the other, add molasses and enough wheat flour to make a dough. Knead both doughs well and let rise until doubled. Roll out both doughs to a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
    Place dark atop light. Cut in half and roll up, placing in a greased loaf pan.
    Let rise until doubled, then bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
