Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. whiskey
2 lb. candied cherries
2 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. golden raisins
1 lb. dark raisins
6 c. chopped pecans
1 extra c. flour
Preparation

Cream margarine and brown sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Combine the 3 1/2 cups flour, soda and spices; add to the creamed mixture alternately with the 1 cup whiskey.
Cut up the fruit (cherries and pineapple) and dredge the extra cup of flour with all the fruits and pecans.
Add fruit and nut mixture to the batter.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
