Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 egg
16 oz. can pumpkin
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Combine sugar, oil, and egg; beat until fluffy.
Blend in pumpkin. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Add to pumpkin mixture, beat until smooth.
Fold in nuts and raisins. Spoon into greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
