Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas (2 to 3 bananas)
Preparation

Beat shortening until creamy.
Gradually add sugar and continue beating until fluffy.
Add eggs (well beaten).
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
Mash bananas.
Alternately add flour mixture and mashed bananas to egg mixture.
Beat until well blended.
Grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Pour batter into pan and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Makes one loaf.
