Strawberry Cream Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 dashes salt
    8 oz. soft cream cheese
    2 c. powdered sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 pt. or more whole fresh strawberries
    1 1/2 pt. chopped strawberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients well.
    Press into bottom of 9 x 13 pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together.
    Fold in Cool Whip and spread over cool crust.
    Arrange whole strawberries on top of filling. Combine chopped strawberries, sugar, cornstarch and water and cook on stove top until thick.
    Cool some and pour over fresh strawberries.
    Chill.
