Pennsylvania Dutch Snickerdoodles(Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine shortening, sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Add flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt and vanilla.
    Mix until well blended. Form into small balls.
    Roll in the sugar and cinnamon (which have been mixed together).
    Bake on greased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Very good.
