Refrigerator Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. flour, sifted
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar; add vanilla and mix well.
    Sift flour, salt and soda.
    Gradually add to mixture.
    Add nuts to flour mixture if you use them.
    Shape into 2 or 3 long rolls.
    Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight.
    Can be frozen and used one at a time.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 7 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
