Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and egg.
Add flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and vanilla.
Mix well.
Make into balls and flatten to bake or roll out and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes.
Ice with Buttercream Icing.
