Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (2 layer) pkg. Butter Recipe yellow cake mix
1 to 2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Beat the butter, cream cheese, egg and vanilla in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in the dry cake mix. Chill, covered, for 30 minutes. Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls into a bowl of confectioners sugar and roll into balls. Arrange on cookie sheets lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. Makes 3 dozen.
