Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    6 oz. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    sugar (to roll cookies in)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    With mixer, cream butter and brown sugar; beat well.
    Add egg and molasses; beat until light in color.
    On low speed, gradually add dry ingredients. Refrigerate dough 10 to 15 minutes.
