Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. nuts or 1 c. raisins (if desired)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl cream shortening and sugar. Add bananas, eggs and extract. Mix in dry ingredients, one at a time, and add alternately with milk.
Add nuts or raisins. Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
