Peanut Blossom Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 oz. pkg. chocolate candy kisses

Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients and set aside.
Cream shortening, sugar and peanut butter. Add eggs and vanilla.
Blend in dry ingredients. Shape into scant teaspoon size balls. Roll each in sugar.
