Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas.
    Stir in nuts and pour into greased 9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
