2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat egg whites to hold stiff peaks. Add sugar, beating all the time.
Add cream of tartar, salt and vanilla.
Fold in chocolate chips, not melted, and pecans.
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets.
Put in oven and turn off heat.
Leave overnight or 6 hours.
Makes about 50.
