Ingredients

1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 cup flour
1 Tbsp. soda
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 lb. dates
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cloves
2 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, and eggs, heat at medium. Temperature for 2 or 3 minutes. Add milk.
Stir in pecans and chopped dates. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
