Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed.
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl.
Gradually beat flour mixture until well blended.
Wrap dough in plastic wrap; flatten lightly and refrigerate for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
